With our carpet cleaning service, you get FAR MORE THOUROUGHNESS than you do with other carpet cleaning companies. Please read below about our twelve-step process for MAXIMUM SOIL AND SPOT REMOVAL WITHOUT OVERWETTING THE CARPET, which is according to the IICRC Standard, approved by major carpet mills such as Shaw and Mohawk.
Four Seasons Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning also uses “Green Cleaning” products, which meet or exceed the U.S. Government standards for “Green “ cleaning products. Just let us know that you are interested in our “Green Carpet or Upholstery Cleaning,” when you contact us to schedule a job. If the carpet is not “heavily soiled,” we can do the job for you using “Green Cleaning” at no extra charge to you.
Our premium carpet cleaning price includes pre-vacuuming, all pre-spotting, some furniture moving, and steam cleaning. The only items not included would be pet stains and some other tough stains such as ink, or “Carpet Guard” service. If you’re interested in protecting your carpet from soil and stains, ask us about protecting your carpet with Carpet Guard.
12-Step Carpet Cleaning Process
Step 1: Pre-Inspection
Our technician will do a walk through inspection with you to identify soiling conditions, carpet construction, special services such as pet stains and odor treatment that you may need, and potential permanent stains.
Step 2: Pre-vacuum
Your carpet is pre-vacuumed with a commercial vacuum to remove bonded, insoluble dry soil.
Step 3: Furniture Moving
Our service includes the moving of small and medium furniture. Sofas, chairs and tables will be carefully moved. Larger pieces, such as beds and dressers are left in place under our regular pricing structure. Furniture will be protected with disposable blocks and tabs.
Step 4: Pre-spot
Tough spots and stains are pre-treated for maximum removal.
Step 5: Pre-spray
Traffic areas are pre-treated with a biodegradable traffic lane treatment to loosen soils for deep, effective removal.
Step 6: Pre-agitation
Your carpet will be pre-agitated with a carpet groomer or rotary cleaning machine (depending on soil level) to further loosen traffic area soil.
Once the soil has been loosened, our state-of-the-art truck-mounted hot water extraction cleaning process will thoroughly flush the carpet pile. Pressure and heat are regulated to prevent the carpet from being over-wet.
Step 7: Soil Extraction and Rinse
The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed using a powerful extraction cleaning system without over-wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind.
Step 8: Neutralizer
The pH is balanced on every carpet and fabric cleaned. This is one of the most important steps according to the manufacturers of carpet. It is accomplished during the extract & rinse process or a post spray will be applied.
Step 9: Post Spot Treatment
Some tough stains which can dye your carpet may not come out with our extraction. However, a post spotting, done by hand, can remove many of them using our specialized technical skills.
Step 10: Post Groom
The Carpet pile is set in one direction to aid the drying process.
Step 11: Speed Dry
A high velocity air mover is placed on the carpet to lessen the drying time.
Step 12: Post Cleaning Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results and make sure that you are completely thrilled with the job.

At 7:30 P.M. on a Saturday night, I never expected to get anyone over to remove the stains from the nail polish I spilled on my carpet. Dan was there with the hour and did a superb job, not only on the stain removal, but cleaning the entire room.
